Matt and Ethan have been working together since 2016. Matt was building and tuning the shocks on Ethan's family owned dirt late model. When Ethan was driving a crate late model for the Bryant family, he stayed in touch with Matt. After Ethan stepped out of the seat, he really took a liking to figuring out the setup and suspension on the dirt oval track cars. When Ethan launched Burgess Motorsports Consulting he partnered with Matt, making ML Performance the preferred shock service company for BMC clients. BMC grew a lot quicker than Ethan expected and it created a high demand for shock servicing and repair. With the portfolio of clients Ethan was building and the presence it was promoting ML Performance in the Midwest region, Ethan and Matt decided to partner at the end of the racing season in 2022. They would open a Midwest location to grow the ML Performance brand and better serve the current and new clients in that region. ML Performance Midwest, LLC was formed and open for business. 

 

Ethan and Matt have the same goal to grow ML Performance to one of the top preferred dirt circle track shock service and repair companies. They also want to use this opportunity to expand their knowledge into other motorsports and off-road vehicles to really grow the ML Performance brand.
